Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)
Provides the highest level of assurance. QES has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and cannot be questioned in court.
The security level of QES is verified by the signature certificate issuer, a qualified trust service provider, adhering to the most rigorous requirements according to eIDAS.
Advanced Electronic Signature (AdES)
Offers a high level of assurance. AdES links data to the signatory and is considered strong evidence in court.
At Dokobit, AdES is created by collecting evidence of the person’s consent to sign the document using a chosen eID and adding an e-seal to confirm their consent. Read more here.
Simple Electronic Signature (SES)
Offers a rather low level of assurance. SES is a basic level of electronic signature that does not require strong signer authentication.
At Dokobit, SES is created by collecting evidence of the person’s consent to sign the document using an SMS one-time password and adding an e-seal to confirm their consent. Read more here.
